Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling helped completely transform this 2,500 square foot family home in Brookline, MA. The whole home remodel encompassed every construction trade including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, drywall & plaster, tiling, painting, framing and finish carpentry, flooring, doors, and windows. In the end, Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling’s team helped modernize this 1920 home.
The extensive remodeling including taking the kitchen back down to the studs. Bay State Refinishing and Remodeling used spray polyurethane foam in the stud cavities to improve the overall energy efficiency of the home. In the addition, the team opened up the space by removing walls and partitions. This helped create a lighter, airier space that adds both function and beauty.
The Bay State Refinishing & Remodeling team also removed the bathroom in the residence. Updates included adding a frameless shower enclosure, unique bathtub and style features like wall sconce lighting and black granite countertops. A towel warmer and heating fixture was also added for added convenience.
